Education Research Manager

Edurio is on its way to improve education quality globally and we are looking to scale our research capacity! Edurio works with over 1500 schools in the United Kingdom and internationally. We collaborate with leading academics and Ministries of Education to improve education quality. We help school management make better decisions by delivering tools to effectively gather stakeholder feedback and visualise data.

We’re looking for an Education Research Manager to lead the research team’s work, managing thought leadership, feedback data analysis and survey design. You will coordinate our research activities in the UK and internationally.

What the research team does

  • Carries out data analysis and reporting of unique large-scale pupil, parent and staff survey data
    • Creates custom reports for our customers when they require insights beyond our data visualisations in the platform
    • Builds thought leadership reports, blog posts or articles based on anonymised stakeholder feedback data (e.g.
  • Develops new analytic products that Edurio can offer to our customers
    • Designs new survey instruments
    • Builds and validates new customer report templates
    • Calculates benchmarks that we can add to our platform for customers to compare their results against
  • Manages consultancy or research projects and academic collaborations
  • Supports the product team in designing new analytic and data visualisation features for the platform

Your role

  • Prioritising research projects in collaboration with our commercial, marketing and product teams.
  • Leading research projects that deliver value to our customers, the education community and the Edurio brand.
  • Helping 3-5 analysts and survey specialists set clear goals for their work, supporting them in delivery and managing processes to ensure quality and reliability.
  • Supporting the professional development of the research team.

You are likely to have

  • Experience with managing people, projects and processes.
  • Excellent ability to structure, prioritise and plan good written and analytic work.
  • Strong interest or experience in education, analytics and research.
  • Initiative and drive to achieve a lot with loose guidance.
