Education Research Specialist

Edurio is on its way to improve education quality globally and we are looking to scale our research capacity! Edurio works with over 1500 schools in the United Kingdom and internationally. We collaborate with leading academics and Ministries of Education to improve education quality. We help school management make better decisions by delivering tools to effectively gather stakeholder feedback and visualise data.

We’re looking for an Education Research Specialist to carry out education policy research and lead our efforts in developing support and training materials for teachers and school heads' in the UK and internationally.

Your role

  • Researching education policy, education quality management, and data use in schools internationally.
  • Summarising and presenting this research to the Edurio team, educators, and policy-makers.
  • Designing continuous professional development (CPD) courses and seminars for educators about using data for school improvement.
  • Creating appropriate materials for delivering CPD and for communicating our research, such as written reports, worksheets, scripts for video, and others.
  • Communicating with teachers and school leaders to collect feedback on research hypotheses and learn more about their practice.

You are likely to have

  • Strong interest or experience in education, analytics and research.
  • In-depth understanding of the practical challenges faced by educators.
  • Excellent ability to structure, prioritise and plan good written and analytic work.
  • The ability to communicate effectively with different audiences, including teachers, school heads, policymakers, and researchers.
  • Initiative and drive to achieve a lot with loose guidance.
  • Knowledge of both - Latvian and English.
