Measuring Pupil Belonging

Pupil belonging is becoming an increasingly important focus. The Schools White Paper highlights the importance of monitoring pupil engagement and belonging by 2029, reflecting the growing recognition that pupils’ experience of school matters for attendance, wellbeing and learning.

When pupils feel safe, valued and connected to their school community, they are more likely to attend regularly and participate in school life.

But for school leaders, an important question remains:

How can you measure pupil belonging consistently and understand whether the actions you take are actually improving it over time?

Wednesday, 22nd April at 4 pm

Join us for a live one-hour platform showcase designed specifically for school leaders. We will discuss what the Schools White Paper expects to see by 2029 and we will show how schools are measuring pupil belonging, comparing results across pupil groups, and tracking whether improvement initiatives are making a difference over time.
