Transition Years (Before Transition) Survey for Pupils

This survey is intended to inform organisations about how pupils feel in preparation for their transition to a new education setting (phase, school, year group, etc.).

The survey informs schools and trusts about:

• Pupil wellbeing
• Academic and social-emotional readiness
• The support pupils require

By comparing results with parent/carer respondents, schools and trusts can improve their guidance and support for stakeholders about to embark on the next phase of education.
