Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Among School Staff
Making school staff feel valued and appreciated is essential to building a strong and positive school community. Therefore, understanding the concerns and feelings of staff is paramount.
In early 2021, Edurio ran its first Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Review for school and trust staff across England, collecting extensive data on EDI issues within schools. The survey saw over 16,500 participants across 380 schools and gathered information on staff feelings around workplace diversity, equal treatment, and leadership dynamics.
The gathered data uncovered how different staff groups have different experiences, revealing that certain groups feel less valued and show less confidence in leadership than others. Our Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Among School Staff report dives deep into this data and paints a clear picture of the EDI issues schools face today.
