Collaborative Communities: Growing Together in Trusts Webinar

Strengthening Collaboration Across Your MAT

Tuesday 4th March at 10 am (1-hour session)

Effective collaboration across schools within a trust can transform student outcomes, staff development, and community impact. Yet, common challenges often stand in the way. This webinar will explore four key barriers and practical strategies to overcome them, providing attendees with actionable insights to foster a more cohesive and effective MAT environment.

What you’ll take away:

  1. Strategies to build and sustain trust:
Learn how to bridge differences in school cultures, policies and practices to foster trust and mutual respect across schools within a trust.
  2. Ideas for consistency and quality:
Examine the challenges of aligning vision, values, and educational standards across academies while allocating resources equitably to maintain high-quality outcomes.
  3. A balanced approach to autonomy and collaboration:
Discuss how to maintain the autonomy that promotes job satisfaction while ensuring sufficient coordination and standardisation to enable collaboration and shared success.

This webinar draws upon the experiences of nine distinguished leaders from a diverse array of top-performing trusts, offering real-world insights grounded in trust perception data.

We’re also delighted to be joined by Sir David Carter, former National Schools Commissioner for England, who will share his expertise on leading at scale to create new opportunities for children, empower staff and transform communities.
