Improving Pupil Wellbeing in 2024
16/01/2024 10-11 am How to Improve Pupil Wellbeing in 2024
Are you curious about the biggest changes in pupil wellbeing in English schools in the last three years? Do you want to learn more about the main findings of Pupil Wellbeing in Schools 2023, and how wellbeing has worsened faster for girls than boys? Are you interested in whether pupil wellbeing differs depending on the school’s Ofsted rating?
Join us as we discuss the latest research on pupil wellbeing, including the impact of the pandemic on happiness, stress, and loneliness. The data shows that pupils’ happiness to be studying at their school has decreased by 15% since 2020/21, and girls’ overall wellbeing has slipped by 12%, from 43% feeling well in 2020/21, to just 31% last year.
Our guest speaker from Anna Freud, Rosin McEvoy, will provide recommendations and interventions on pupil wellbeing. This webinar will be an opportunity to explore the findings of the report and to discuss how we can support the wellbeing of pupils in all schools.
