Introduction
When schools operate normally, the range and nature of education technology usage can vary widely from
teacher to teacher, classroom to classroom, and school to school. However, the shift to remote learning during the
summer term of 2020, when Covid-19 caused complete or partial school closures globally, meant an increased reliance on digital technologies for all schools.
The Edurio Covid-19 Impact Review was launched to help schools understand and navigate the disruption caused by Covid-19. With over 45,000 respondents from 277 schools, this is England's largest multi-stakeholder study of the impact of Covid-19 on schools.
The stakeholder responses demonstrate the vast variety of challenges school communities faced last spring, as
well as many creative and inspiring examples of overcoming them.
