Equality, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Survey

Understand how inclusive your school or trust is

Gather insights from your school community to understand how well your culture, policies and practices are supporting equality, equity, diversity and inclusion (EEDI). Our tailored survey templates help you explore the experiences of both staff and pupils – so you can build a more inclusive environment for all.

Designed to support: Inclusion strategies, recruitment and retention, and whole-school culture development.

Both survey templates are available to Edurio Unlimited users. Individual surveys are also included in the relevant stakeholder packs (Staff or Pupil).

Staff and pupil survey templates

Our EEDI survey set includes two tailored templates – one for staff and one for pupils – each focused on the issues that matter most to them.

The templates explore perceptions and experiences across key areas such as recruitment and opportunities, adjustments and accessibility, feelings of safety and inclusion, and appraisal and advancement.

Schools and trusts use these surveys to:

  1. Understand how inclusive their workplace and learning environment truly feel
  2. Identify barriers affecting different groups within the school community
  3. Inform strategies to better support the needs of every staff member and pupil

Why hearing from everyone matters

Building an inclusive school or trust isn’t just about policies – it’s about listening to people’s lived experiences and acting on what they tell you. That’s why our EEDI surveys are designed to give you insights from both staff and pupils.

By gathering feedback from staff and pupils, schools and trusts can:

  1. Pinpoint strengths and areas for improvement in your current inclusion strategy
  2. Ensure every voice is heard in shaping a truly equitable school culture
  3. Foster trust, improve recruitment and retention and create a better future for all
