Transition Years (Before Transition) Survey for Parents

This survey is intended to inform schools and trusts about how parents/carers feel in preparation for their child’s transition to a new education setting (phase, school, year group, etc.).

The survey asks questions about:

• Wellbeing
• Academic and social-emotional readiness
• The support pupils may need

By comparing results with pupil respondents, schools and trusts can improve their guidance and support for stakeholders about to embark on the next phase of education.
