Our Awards Programme is our way of recognising and appreciating the incredible work you do in the education sector. We believe in celebrating everyone’s achievements and fostering a collaborative community where we can learn from one another. Each month, we will celebrate the top 10 schools in a specific category, selected based on national survey data from the previous academic year. This recognition not only highlights excellence but also encourages best practices across the education community.
Award categories
Our awards programme features a range of categories, each designed to recognise different aspects of school achievement:
- Staff Workload Balance Award
Celebrating schools based on responses to the question, “How often do you feel overworked?” This award recognises effective workload management and prioritisation of staff wellbeing.

- Trust Value Award
Recognising schools that score high on the question, “How confident are you that being part of the trust is beneficial?” This award highlights the positive impact of trust membership.

- Parental Engagement Award
Honouring schools that excel in engaging parents, as measured by the question, “In general, how satisfied are you with the school’s efforts to engage you as a parent?”

- Pupil Happiness Award
Highlighting schools where students respond positively to the question, “How happy are you to be studying at this school?” This award focuses on creating a supportive and enjoyable learning environment.
- Staff Participation Award
Acknowledging schools with the best response rates in engaging staff in decision-making and school development efforts.
- Parental Choice Award
Celebrating schools that receive high scores on the question, “On a scale from 1 to 10, how likely are you to recommend this trust to other parents?”
- Staff Choice Award
Recognising schools based on the question, “On a scale from 1 to 10, how likely are you to recommend your workplace as a good place to work?” This award reflects a positive workplace culture.
- Staff EDI Commitment Award
Honouring schools that demonstrate a strong commitment to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion, as reflected in responses to the question, “In practice, how committed to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion is your workplace?”
- Champion Leadership Award
Recognising schools where staff feel valued, based on the question, “How appreciated by the leadership do you feel for your work?”
