Technology and AI in Schools Report 2026

How teachers are using technology and AI, and what they want from their trust.

Launching in late November 2026. Register now to be among the first to read it.

Trusts across England have adopted AI quickly. In this year’s National School Trust Report, just 6% of trust CEOs said their trust had no formal AI use, down from 39% two years earlier. Most decisions on tools, training and policy are now made at trust level.

Those decisions depend on knowing how teachers use AI and how they feel about it. The Technology and AI in Schools Report 2026 is Edurio’s first national benchmark of teachers’ experience of technology and AI, based on the views of more than 2,800 teachers in over 200 schools who took part in the Technology and AI in Schools Survey.

Teachers told us where AI is already part of their working week, where they are holding back and what they want from their trust. Thank you to every teacher who took part.
