The Trusts Together Fund
Every trust is dealing with something hard right now, whether that’s budget, SEND provision, falling pupil numbers, or capacity. Chances are, another trust has already found a way through some of this. Trust leaders just don’t always have the chance, or the funds, to connect and find out.
Edurio’s Trusts Together Fund has been created to support events that bring trusts together to swap ideas and learn from what’s working elsewhere.
Apply for the sponsorship by completing the application form below.
Purpose of the Fund
The best ideas in education rarely come from one trust working alone, they come from trusts sharing what’s actually working, trying things out together, and being honest with each other about what isn’t.
In conversations with the trusts we work with, we’ve seen this play out directly: some of the best ideas we come across started with one trust learning from another, not from us. Edurio exists to listen to schools and trusts, so the Trusts Together Fund felt like an obvious way to help more of those conversations happen.
How it works
- You organise the event, whether that’s a conference, a lunch roundtable, themed dinner or a focused workshop, whatever format actually brings trusts together to share practice.
- You apply, telling us about the event and the intended audience
- We review applications against the criteria below, and at least five events are selected for sponsorship this academic year.
- Successful events receive cost coverage up to £1,000, plus our support in sharing lessons learned.
Who can apply
- The event must be organised by a school trust, any size, any region.
- At least eight trusts must be taking part, including the organising trust.
- You don’t need to be an Edurio customer to apply.
- The event can be in-person or hybrid.
- Events at any stage of planning can apply, including very early ideas.
What sponsorship includes
- Up to £1,000 towards event costs, whether that’s venue, catering or materials, it’s your call how it’s spent.
- An Edurio team member will attend to summarise lessons learned and create a blog post for the wider sector if the group is happy to share the outcomes.
- No obligation to feature Edurio content or branding at the event.
FAQs
No, it’s one application per event. If several trusts are co-organising, one of them applies on behalf of the group and acts as the main point of contact.
Not necessarily; we’d rather see a strong idea early than wait for you to have everything locked in. Funding is confirmed once you can show at least eight trusts are genuinely on board, so it’s fine to apply at idea stage as long as you can update us as things firm up.
Applications are reviewed at the end of every half term, that’s October, December, February, April, May, and July, so you’ll never be waiting longer than half a term to hear back.
No fixed deadline, just apply before the next half-term review point to be considered in that round. Anything submitted after a cutoff simply rolls into the next one.
