Creative Education Trust

How did Creative Education Trust encourage strong participation in the Edurio National Technology and AI Survey?

More than half of teachers across CET shared their views, giving us valuable insight into their experiences of technology and AI in schools.

A coordinated, trust-wide approach helped make the difference:

  • Early buy-in through CET’s EdTech Professional Community
  • Clear briefing for school leaders on purpose and opportunity for national benchmarking
  • CEO launch email to teachers, highlighting the value of staff voice
  • Regular completion updates shared with school leaders to support visibility and local engagement
  • Dedicated time, where possible, for teachers to complete the survey, such as during CPD sessions
  • Trust-wide reminders during the survey window
  • Additional support for schools in the final week
The key was making the survey feel purposeful: an opportunity to listen to staff, understand what is working, and shape future EdTech and AI priorities across the trust.
